In part 1, you discovered how hormones attract your perfect mate to create healthy babies and a harmonious love life. Now find out how your body shape and personality give you clues how to choose your great love match in highlights of my radio interview for A Lasting Love with Dr. Hal A. Huggins.
Dr. Hal is a top dentist and immunologist, who reveals hormonal secrets of great sex and lasting love in his book, Who Makes Your Hormones Hum? He is a leading pioneer in identifying toxic dental materials, reversing autoimmune diseases and guiding you to the perfect mate who makes your hormones hum, only if you want love to last.
Hadley: Let’s help single men and women choose a great love match. You suggest we do a pre-marital prediction to determine our perfect mate, based on body shape and personality. Guide us through the process.
Dr. Hal: Your body shape reveals the hormonal match you’re looking for. If you have a lot of testosterone, you’ll have wider shoulders. Your best mate is a hormonal opposite who has narrow shoulders, indicating elevated estrogen.
If males lose their hair in the center across the top of their head, this is a sign of being Andric, with slightly elevated testosterone. If males lose hair in two streaks, a couple inches off the mid-line, they are Genic, with slightly elevated estrogen.
Hadley: Tell us how to identify personality traits of Andrics and Genics.
Dr. Hal: The Andric is a take-charge leader, and the Genic is a follower. They need each other. They compliment each other. They are a great match as a couple and in the workplace.
For example, a surgeon is a Genic who concentrates for hours and barely moves. The best surgical nurse is an Andric, a mover who follows the procedure and presents the perfect instrument minutes before the surgeon looks up and needs it. If you team up two andrics or two genics, you’ll get the wrong instrument and you’ll mess up the surgery.
Hadley: So you need to identify a person’s personality and body shape of as you date or go out on job interviews?
Dr. Hal: If a woman who is genic goes on a job interview, she can tell at a glance if a male interviewer is genic, because he wears a beard. Andric males rarely, less than 1 percent of the time, handle facial hair. So a genic woman who meets a genic man knows it’s not a good fit for any type of relationship.
Hadley: Your book includes drawings of hormonal blueprints to look for in your best partner as a love match or work match. How do you help couples get along if they’ve chosen a hormonal mismatch?
Dr. Hal: Even the best hormonal matches don’t always get along, so the goal is to learn to be more accepting of differences in any relationship. The Andric and the Genic are attracted because they are hormonal opposites, but they also see and do things differently in daily life, which often irritates their partner.
For example, Genics roll toothpaste up carefully from the bottom, feed the toilet paper from the bottom of the roll and slam on the brakes on a yellow light. Whereas, Andrics squeeze toothpaste in the middle, prefer toilet paper feeding off the top of the roll, and speed through a yellow light before it turns red. Each thinks the other is wrong, but there’s no right or wrong in matters of preference. The fussing happens to show you how to face conflict.
Hadley: Well, I’m clearly Andric.
Dr. Hal: So for your best hormonal match, you want to marry a male who is as genic as you are andric; then deal with arguments about opposing views of toothpaste squeezing, toilet paper rolling and approaching yellow lights.
Dr. Page, who taught me about this in the 1960s, had studied a hundred couples married over 50 years and found that you take one hormonal pattern and flip it over and it’s an identical match to their spouse of 50 years.
Hadley: Any other ways to quickly identify an andric or genic person you meet?
Dr. Hal: Look at their chin in profile. If the chin goes straight down to the collar bone, that’s Andric. If the chin goes way back underneath the jaw and makes a figure 7 at the neck, that’s Genic. This is true for men and women.
Hadley: Unless they’ve had plastic surgery to turn an andric chin into a genic.
Dr. Hal: About six months after surgery, it will go back to its original shape. You can’t fool mother nature forever.
Hadley: You give measurements in your book that show how much genic, andric or thyroid someone is. Once you know your hormonal pattern, you know how to identify your best mate who is the exact opposite.
So I encourage single men and women to find out your hormone profile in the book, Who Makes Your Hormones Hum? Do this before you walk down the aisle with someone whose hormones won’t make yours hum for a lifetime.
